Brushy Creek
There are two neighborhoods in Round Rock which are referred to as “Brushy Creek.” There is the original Brushy Creek (South) and also Brushy Creek North. Both areas have a long history but contain totally different types of homes. The areas are both included in the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District (MUD).
Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District
The Brushy Creek MUD provides wastewater service, water, solid waste collection, road construction and maintenance as well as parks. The Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District is not responsible for zoning, building permits, or taxes. Brushy Creek MUD includes the areas between Sam Bass Road and 1431 (known as Brushy Creek North) and another between Brushy Creek and F.M. 620. Other neighborhoods are part of the MUD including: Sendero Springs, Hillside, Villages of Brushy Creek, Cat Hollow, Meadows of Brushy Creek, and Woods of Brushy Creek.
